CCV’s Life Gap Plus Presents: CCV Student Support through Community Partnerships
July 25 @ 2:30 pm - 4:00 pmFREE
Innovative community programs like Everyone Eats illustrate the benefits of delivering vital resources directly to CCV students. The new connection between CCV and local food pantries is another example of how creative community partnerships can support students and break down barriers to accessing support.
Join United Way’s Working Bridges program, CCV staff members, and statewide community resource partners to deepen our collective knowledge of existing community programs, build relationships that foster both education and outreach about community resources, and explore collaboration.
We’ve already identified food as a major need for CCV students across the state and developed new ways of addressing this need through innovative collaborative efforts. How can we apply the same innovation to other major supports students are seeking help with in 2022?
Community organizations are invited to share information about their programming, CCV staff members are invited to share their perspective on student needs and access to supports, and all are welcome to learn and collaborate around how to support CCV students statewide.
Register for this online statewide event below, and please feel free to invite colleagues or organizations that we may have missed inviting – anyone interested in supporting the success of CCV students are welcome to join! You’ll be asked to select your region of service so that we can easily filter you into regional breakout rooms the second half of the meeting for specialized discussion and collaboration!
You are invited to a Zoom meeting.
When: Jul 25, 2022 02:30 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada)
